KALANJIAM BROTHERS was founded on 01.01.1955 by the Four Stalwarts of the Kalanjiam Family –
Al haj P.L.E. Abdul Kader Kalanjiam, Janab P.L.E. Kader Mohideen Kalanjiam, Janab P.L.E. Ebrahim Sahib Kalanjiam and Alhaj P.L.E. Seyed Mohamed Thamby Kalanjiam.The brothers ran a Business Firm under the head Kalanjiam Brothers in the Sri Lankan capital Colombo until 1954.The brothers decided to shift their base to their Home land Tamil Nadu to carry on with their business.
Our beloved Founder P.L.E. Kader Mohideen Kalanjiam, together looked after the business. Their two other brothers later went into Hardware business. Kalanjiam Brothers got its fame from the supply of Jewellery to Famous Celebrities like MGR, Jayalalithaa, Manjula, Gemini Ganesan, Sivaji, ‘Vennira aadai’ Nirmala and others. Our Trustworthy practise of Business brought us fame by Famous Dance Teachers visiting our shop and purchasing Bharathanatyam Jewels for them and their students as well.
After the sudden demise of our Beloved Founder, our Firm was run by the Stupendous leadership of Alhaj P.L.E. Nainar Mohamed Kalanjiam and his son Alhaj P.L.E.N. Fareed Kalanjiam, has joined the Elite Management of the Firm and successfully conduct the Firm with their late Founder's Visionary Guidance.
We were the Sponsers of the famous MGR Tamil Movie "NADODI MANNAN" And Supply our fancy immitation jewellery for the movie "MANNADHI MANNAN". After hit of NADODI MANNAN,We got "Silver Sword" Gift from Thiru MGR and it was as Returned a Monument For INDIA-CHINA WAR in the year 1967
